I was then able to move and resize the window again.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>I was not able to resize the window of the WhatsApp Desktop application and even if i have uninstalled the app and install it back, the fullscreen persisted.<\/p>\n<p>You can solve this by doing the following:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Close Whatsapp and open the following file with notepad:<br \/>\n&#8220;C:\\Users\\&lt;username&gt;\\AppData\\Roaming\\WhatsApp\\settings.json&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Change &#8220;isFullScreen&#8221;:true to &#8220;isFullScreen&#8221;:false<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; When you now start Whatsapp it seems still maximized, but you can resize it again.<\/p>\n<p>Hint: The workaround did not work for the WhatsApp Desktop version download via Microsoft store.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update from Eugene from within the comments section: &#8220;What worked for me was to just press F11.
